La verdad, no he visto en vivo el material, pero parece interesante el concepto, ligero y flexible, y no muy caro.

Since noone had any objections, we are officially organizing it in Buenos Aires on April 3rd-4th (Easter Weekend) 2010. En la reunión de la EurothFed del 7 de noviembre en Gante se ha decidido que el año que viene (2010) y el siguiente sólo habrá 6 EGP, frente a los 12 de ahora. Los que no se jueguen un año se jugarán al siguiente.

At the 33rd World Othello Championships, the EurothFed has held a meeting with only one topic: the EGP Series format.Y no se sabe más.
The following decisions have been made:
- The upcoming two years there will be an EGP series format of 6 EGP's per year where both at the end of 2010 and 2011 a new European Champion will be crowned based upon the current point system and counting the 4 best results.

- The current 12 organising countries have been divided into 6 groups of 2 countries, which are the following:
- Belgium / The Netherlands
- UK / France
- Italy / Spain
- Denmark / Germany
- Czech Republic / Poland
- Sweden / Norway
Estamos en el grupo: España, Italia. Es decir, el año que haya EGP en España, no lo habrá en Italia, y viceversa.
- Before November 21st - 20:00 (CET), paired countries could agree when they want to organise their EGP (2010 or 2011). If no agreement has been made, the country who will organise in 2010 will be picked at random. The other country in the group will organise in 2011. Tom Schotte and the European representative of the WOF Milosz Cupial) will conduct the draw by webcam.
Antes del 21 de noviembre hay que ponerse de acuerdo con Italia para ver quién organiza el EGP en 2010 y quién en 2011. Si no se alcanza el acuerdo, Tom Schotte y Milosz Cupial (nuevo representante europeo ante el WOF, sustituyendo a Tom si no recuerdo mal) lo sortearán.
- As soon as the 6 countries are known, the dates of the tournaments will be picked.
- This system is a try-out. It will be analysed and evaluated at the end of the 2011 season. At that point the system could change again. If is decided to keep the system, countries will be enable to leave the EGP series and other countries could be allowed to join the EGP series.
(outside the decisions: it would seem logical that the 6 countries who are granted an EGP in 2010, could pin their dates first. If other countries still want to organise an international event, it would be better to await the EGP calendar 2010)
Solicitan que si no te toca organizar EGP en 2010 pero vas a organizar alguna otra cosa internacionalmente ese año, esperes al calendario del EGP de 2010 (que a saber cuándo saldrá).
